We all feel unhappy at some times in our life. Some more than others. If you feel more unhappy often than you would like those 3 effective tips on how to be happy with yourself will make you feel better

1. Don’t compare Yourself to other People.
Comparing myself to other people was one of the biggest crutches in my life. I thought this guy was cooler than me, this guy had more friends than me and this guy was more successful than me. And even if you become “better” than the people you compared yourself too, it just keeps going – then you start comparing yourself to new people and it all begins again.

The biggest realization you need to have is, that there is always going to be somebody better than you. Yes there is always going to be someone more successful in your craft, somebody cooler or more famous. Think about this, accept this fact and then just let go of comparing yourself with other people. forever. It is much easier this way and often then you will start having real success with yourself and life in general and will feel very fulfilled.

2.  Stop caring what other People think.
On the other side of the coin of comparing yourself with other people there is caring what other people think. This may be the biggest issue which keeps you from being a happy and fulfilled person. You know who you would like to be and you know what you would like to do but you are constantly worrying what others could think about you.

Worrying what others think about yourself is a huge limitation to your life-quality. It produces stress and limits your behavior and choices of life To stop this you need to start trusting your own opinion over yourself more than others. If you trust that what you are doing is right and that you are a highly valuable individual you will start caring less and less of the opinion of other people – makes sense right?

3. Set your own Standards and Goals in Life and follow through with them
How can you achieve not comparing yourself to others and stopping to care what they could think? Start setting your own goals and standards in life and follow through with them. In the beginning your feeling will get worse and you will feel more anxious but if you commit to your goals and push through you’re fear of what others will think of you, you’re mind will realize two things: First nothing bad will happen if you act against social norms and against the norms of others and second you will realize that you do way better than expected. This will give you self confidence and will relax you more, cause you already had enough experience, where you succeeded on your own, therefore you trust you can rely on yourself. Then you control your life and can be happy with yourself.
